After the Beginnings

By

After the beginnings came the fire.
Not the quiet spark of discovery, but the burning flame of certainty. The kind of love that doesn’t whisper — it shouts, it consumes, it fills every corner of your soul until there’s no room for doubt.

Days became brighter because you were in them. Nights felt endless, not because of silence, but because we had too much to say, too much to feel. We built dreams like bridges between us, believing nothing could break them. And for a while, it felt true — as if the universe itself had written our names side by side.

But love, real love, isn’t just made of beautiful moments.
It is tested.
By time, by distance, by the weight of fears and the ghosts of old wounds. We argued, we stumbled, we broke and healed in the same breath. Yet even in those storms, I never doubted one thing: you were my anchor. The place my heart always returned to.

Falling in love was the beginning. Staying in love was the battle.
And oh, how we fought for it. We fought with laughter after tears, with forgiveness after anger, with the choice — again and again — to stay, to hold on, to believe in us.

After the beginnings, love became deeper.
Not lighter, not easier, but stronger. Because when you choose someone every single day, even when it hurts, even when it’s hard, that’s when love becomes more than just a feeling. It becomes a promise.

And I promised you this:
That no matter what tomorrow brings, my heart will always carry your name.
